These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by Repair Shop Guru (“Repair Shop Guru,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the text messages you receive from a repair shop that uses our service. By using the service or opting in to text messages, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Repair Shop Guru is software that automotive repair shops use to manage repair orders, invoices, and customer communication. Your repair shop is responsible for the vehicle work itself; we provide the tools the shop uses to service your vehicle and keep you informed.

Text messaging terms

By opting in, you agree to receive text messages related to your vehicle service. These terms apply to that program:

Program. Customer care messages, including account management updates, vehicle status notifications, bill status updates, requests to approve further work, responses to your inquiries, and support-related messages.
How to opt in. Give verbal confirmation to shop staff when you check in your vehicle, or text START to the shop’s number.
Message frequency.Message frequency varies based on your vehicle’s service and your interactions with the shop.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opt-out. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. You will get one confirmation message and no further messages after that.
Help. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact the shop directly.
Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

We do not sell your information, and no mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Payments

If your shop sends you a link to pay a bill online, payments are processed securely by a third-party payment provider (such as Stripe or Square). We do not store your full card details. Payment terms for the repair work itself are between you and your repair shop.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate contact and vehicle information and to keep it up to date so we can reach you about your service. You are responsible for the mobile number you provide and for notifying the shop if it changes.

Disclaimers

The messaging service is provided “as is.” While we work to deliver messages reliably, we cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered on time or at all, as delivery depends on your carrier and device.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Repair Shop Guru is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the messaging service or delayed or undelivered messages.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the service or the messaging program means you accept the updated Terms.
