We collect only the information needed to repair your vehicle and to communicate with you about that work, including:

• Your name and contact details (mobile phone number, and address if you provide one)
• Your vehicle details (year, make, model, VIN, mileage, and license plate)
• The service you requested and the work performed on your vehicle
• Invoice and payment status for that work
• Messages you send us and our replies

How we use your information

We use your information only to:

• Diagnose, estimate, and perform repairs and services on your vehicle
• Send you updates about your vehicle’s status and your bill
• Request your approval for additional work
• Respond to your questions and support requests
• Keep a service history for your vehicle

We do not use your information for advertising or promotional marketing, and we never sell it.

SMS / text messaging program

When you check in a vehicle, you may opt in to receive text messages from the repair shop about your service. This is how our messaging program works:

• Opt-in. You opt in by giving verbal confirmation to shop staff when you check in your vehicle, or by texting STARTto the shop’s number. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
• What we send. Customer care messages, including account management updates, vehicle status notifications, bill status updates, requests to approve further work, responses to your inquiries, and support-related messages.
• Message frequency.Message frequency varies based on your vehicle’s service and your interactions with the shop.
• Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
• Opt-out. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages.
• Help. Reply HELP for help, or contact the shop directly.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties for any purpose other than delivering the messages you asked to receive.

How we share information

We do not sell your information and we do not share it for marketing. We share information only with the service providers we need to run the service and repair your vehicle, and only to the extent required, such as:

• Our text-messaging provider, solely to deliver the messages you opted in to receive
• Payment processors (such as Stripe or Square), solely to process a payment you choose to make
• Our cloud hosting provider, which stores the data securely on our behalf

These providers are bound to use the information only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to maintain your vehicle service history and to meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information at all times.

Your choices

You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. You can ask the shop to update or delete your contact information, subject to records we are required to keep.

Children’s privacy

Our service is intended for adults arranging vehicle repairs. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
